It may seem to be a nonsense post :p, but just wanted to know whether the chi square distribution given in the tables is till what value of degree of freedom ?
I am asking this because I just came across a question with degree of freedom 40 in ct3 and when i referred the tables my page 167 is blank and the distribution in my tables is till v : 25.

Hope someone will reply.

Yes! Page 167 is blank.... & you can find the required value with nu=40 from Chi-squared % points table pg.no.168/169
