This announcement should help new users get started, particularly if you've never used any discussion forums before.
You will see that we have created some forums for discussions about each subject in the actuarial syllabus, careers, and other non-actuarial topics. If you have any ideas for other useful forums, please let us know.
These forums are available to anybody to read. To read them, simply click on the forum name (or sub-forum name) to enter it. Under each forum will be a number of threads. Each thread contains one particular discussion - to read it, simply click on the one of interest.
You can add your own comments to a thread, or start a new thread. However, to do either of these, you will need to register to use the forums first. Registration is free and confidential and takes only a minute or two to complete. In this way, you will get the full benefits from the forums.
