Hi everyone.
Ive had a major block and have completely forgotton all understanding around conditional probability and theres only a day left before the exam. Im desperately trying to get some understanding back. Im looking at question 4 on september 2017 paper and i just cannot do oart 2 onwards.
My initial problem is that I cant decide when i should be using which formula...
P(Ae|Do)= p(Ae).p(Do|Ae) or
P(Ae|Do)= p(Ae n Do)/ p(Do)
Any advise or tips on understading this would be really appreciated as its quite a common topic.
Thank you in advance
