September 2018 Q6

    Hi,

    I have been looking at September 2018 Q6.

    it is predominantly on Corporate Governance codes and remuneration schemes for management. Is this level of detail on corporate governance still applicable in 2021 or has there been a reduction in the corporate governance material. There seems to be far less core reading on it currently than what was required to answer this questions, at least from what I could see.

    Any help on this would be great!

    Hi Juiced!

    There has not been any significant changes to the CG material in the Core Reading over the period since the 2018 exam. The question you refer to was atypical and was a tricky 'higher order skills' question. Indeed this is confirmed by a comment in the Examiners' Report that "This question produced the lowest marks (as a percentage of those available)."
