self made method

    if I solve any problem, by self made method, in exam and get the true answer, then it'll be okay or not????

    The Examiners' Report states:

    For numerical questions the Examiners' preferred approach to the solution is reproduced in this report; other valid approaches are given appropriate credit.

    It is important to clearly show your working. To take an extreme case, merely to correctly state the correct numerical answer without showing any working would not gain full marks!
