Question 13.10 - Exam style question

Discussion in 'CT4' started by Jeffrey Paterson, Feb 17, 2018.

  1. Can anyone help me with how the standardised deviations are calculated in this question?
Which qx^s value am I supposed to use to calculate this?

    Thanks.

Here we don't have data for qx^s separately,we have no of deaths as Ex* qx^s.
So we calculate Standardised deviations as (Actual deaths- Expected deaths)/Sqrt(expected deaths) where theta x is actual death and Ex*qx^s is expected deaths.
