Non-modelled catastrophes vs. unmodelled elements

It seemed the points in section 3 re non-modelled catastrophes somehow cross with the points in section 5.6 re unmodelled elements. Which part should we follow if encounter such kind of question in the exam context?
 
Yes there is overlap, but there is more to 'unmodelled elements' than the catastrophes alone. Your answer would depend on the wording of the question, hopefully it'll be clear from the context.
