Please be aware (if you are not already aware) that, with effect from the April 2026 examinations, the red (‘Formulae and Tables for Examinations of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, 3rd Edition (2025)’) rather than the orange / yellow (‘Formulae and Tables for Examinations of the Faculty of Actuaries and the Institute of Actuaries, 2nd edition (2002)’) version of the Formulae and Tables will be used in IFoA examinations.
The latest (3rd edition) version of the Formulae and Tables can be purchased, in hard copy form, on the IFoA’s eShop. The online version is available free of charge for members of the IFoA on the IFoA’s Virtual Learning Environment platform.
The previous (2nd edition) will still be useful for practicing past-paper questions in preparation for the exams. A document setting out information from this version of the Formulae and Tables can be found in the ‘Studying Subject CM1’ course on BPP’s The Hub – within the ‘Subject CM1 key resources’ subsection of the ‘While you are studying Subject CM1’ section.
