How does Subject CT6 from 2010 compare to Subject 106 before?
Answer
Topics from the old Subject 106 that had been moved to ST3 have now returned. These include:
(1) Lots of ruin theory, including the adjustment coefficient and Lundberg's inequality
(2) Empirical Bayes Credibility Theory Models 1 and 2
A few things have been removed:
(1) The general insurance policy bookwork from Risk Models (1) chapter
(2) The whole of the experience rating (NCD) chapter
CT6 also contains the following topics from Subject 103:
(1) time series
(2) simulation techniques.

Which Subject CT6, ST3, 106 and 103 questions are relevant for the new Subject CT6 syllabus?
Answer
The new CT6 ASET will contain all the relevant questions from the last six past papers in from Subject CT6 and Subject ST3, without the questions that are no longer examinable.
