Example under MWRR

    Hi,

    I have this doubt in the example given under MWRR, chapter 10 page 27. I think the point: 'a contribution of 50k paid by the company' should be subtracted instead of being added. Since it is being paid 'by' the company so it is an outflow.
    Is my point correct or is there some reason as to why it is being added.

    Some guidance would be great!

    Hii Shyam,
    It will be positive because it is invested in the fund, it is outflow for the company but inflow for the fund. We are here looking from the point of view of fund and want to evaluate performance of fund.
