Hi there - just a quick one! Can I use a combination the equation editor in word as well as the shortcut for notations?

so something like gamma*w^(gamma-1) in the word equation editor or do I have to use the gamma symbol from the editor? can we use a mix of both approaches?

Yes, you can use a mix of both approaches. The key is that you are clear and that you don't waste time making it look nice,
