Hi, in q&a bank part 3 Q3.8, the expression is as follows: 30000* [s31.25/ s30.75] the logic i understood was: on 1 july 2004 he turns 30.75 when his salary turns 30000. so this would be his age for the period 1/july/2004 to 1/july/2005. this much i do understand. Can anyone please explain to me the numerator part? I thank you for your help! regards, shyam
Same logic apply here as well. As given birthday in OCT and salary review occur 9 months later in July next year. 2005 earnings means the salary which was increased in July 2004. So from OCt 1973 to OCT 2004 person age turns exact 31 years. From here is we discount it back 3 months then get July 2004 and from OCt 1973 to July 2004 age comes = 30.75 Hope this helps Sunil
