I need help in question 5 and 6 of iai paper. In ques. 5, how did we integrate from -∞ to ∞ ? In ques 6, why did we use lambda as 1/2 ? Hoping an early response. Thank you
Hard to answer given that in neither of these two questions are the points you raise. I think you must be referring to another exam paper.
Q5 There are 2 errors in the solution. Both integrals should have 1/2a in front and the first integral should go from minus infinity to a. Q6 I would say they've made a mistake or they have used the american version of gamma where the parameters are \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) where \(\beta = 1/\lambda\).
