When calculating central exposed to risk and estimating qx, if I have a life which dies on the first day of the investigation period, do I include the death in my estimation of qx? And if so is my observed time for that specific life, in calculating central exposed to risk, 0 or something else such as 1/365 if I'm working with an investigation period of 1 year?

Any help will be appreciated :)
