    Hi all,

I've noticed that in many modules of CB2 there is a note that it is either completely new topic (in comparison with CT7)
or that it was examined in CT7 pre-2010 exams.
To what extent will ASETs be actually useful for preparation, since they're from years not covering this period?

    Hi Michal,

We sell ASET 2019, which covers both 2019 exams, so these exams are based on the current syllabus.

We also sell ASET 2014-17, for which the exams are based on the old syllabus, but we have modified them to make them appropriate to the current syllabus. The vast majority of questions are still relevant.

In terms of the topics that were included in the course pre-2010, you can find:
    - details of relevant 2005-2007 questions on a thread at the top of this forum
    - relevant 2009 questions within the revision booklets.

In terms of the new topics, you can test these using our other materials - we have tried to ensure coverage of the new material throughout our course notes, assignments and mock exams. Note that in the two CB2 exams we have had to date, I think there's only been one multiple-choice question in each paper that explicitly tests new topics.

So yes, in summary, ASETs are very useful!
