So April 2016 omitted q8 from the ASEt. But the question looks relevant except that we use spline functions for graduation instead of graphical graduation. The chisquared test is still relevant. Has this been removed as we expect to do it in R now?
The question is about graduation of \( q_x \)s rather than \( \mu_x\)s which was removed from the chapter under CS2. For this reason it was not included in the ASET. Andy
