In order to access the additional material from the separate textbook for the Subject CB2 exam, you need to use the IFoA website / library service.

Further information can be found on the IFoA website:

    https://www.actuaries.org.uk/studyi...mics/resources-subject-ct7-business-economics

Students and full IFoA members (Fellows) can email libraries@actuaries.org.uk (using the mail links that appear on the IFoA website pages) to request an individual Athens account, however, they should be able to log in using their IFoA member details at https://www.actuaries.org.uk/user/login/Athens in most cases.

For non-members and special groups (e.g. IAI India students) the IFoA library service may create an Athens login on request, if there are circumstances meaning the student cannot access the hard copy.

    According to the library services:

“Access to books for CB2 study can be achieved by search for the titles on the Actuarial Knowledge Hub after member login at:

    https://www.actuaries.org.uk/user/login/athens.

Currently the IFoA website’s ‘Resources for CT7’ provides links to access the core reading textbooks on economics by J. Sloman et al. and these will work after Athens login as an IFoA member.”
