Hi As there are lots of concepts in SP2 do we have any list of acronyms or something? Also just to wanted to understand, in CP1 we used to focus on key words such as 'Large insurance company' where large can signify access to capital, technology and economies of scale. Is this approach can be applied to all the higher level SP and SA level paper as well? Thanks in advance
Hi Rashi There are a few acronyms in the SP2 Revision Books. Many of the CP1 acronyms could also be helpful for SP2. However, these acronyms were designed to help students remember key bookwork at a time when the exams were not open book. Now that the exam is open book, you may find alternative approaches to be more helpful. For example, create your own checklists of key points, perhaps by noting down important ideas that you have missed when attempting past exam papers. The summary pages at the end of each chapter may also be useful. Yes, in all the later subjects it is important to note the key words in the question and make sure that you tailor your answer to these key words. Don't forget that generic ideas often score as well.
