I have noticed that, probably the PBOR questions solutions has been prepared using older versions. I find the office 365 very much helpful. for e.g. LET function makes things easier. Can we use the Microsoft Excel 365 or the online web version?
The current (September 2023) IFoA Examinations Handbook says that "You cannot use functions only available in versions of Microsoft Office released after 2013". That rules out LET() I'm afraid. Furthermore, it says "Make sure you use a desktop version of Word / Excel, not GoogleDocs or Microsoft 365 online." Hope that helps.
