    Hi,
On question 7, it discusses ways to reduce the underwriting costs.
It states that they could introduce more details questions on the application form to improve the efficiency of the underwriting process.
I would have thought to reduce the cost more simple proposal forms etc would be used.
Can you explain how having more details questions would improve the efficiency?

    Hi
Having more detailed questions might remove the need for doctor's reports or supplementary questions at a later stage and so improve efficiency.
I agree though that fewer questions would be cheaper if there was no impact on the other stages of the underwriting process.
    Best wishes
    Mark
