Is V(S) = E(N)V(X) + V(N)[E(X)]^2 scope of CS1?

2.2016/4/-Q11-(iv)
I calculate it is 0.0469*5000=234.5,but answer is 234.34.
Is there any else I didn't calculate in?

What is LSD? It seems to be half CI,is it scope of CS1?

1. Yes, it's out of scope. See my thread here: https://www.acted.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/ct3-questions-that-are-out-of-scope-of-cs1.19125/

2. You have used a beta round to 3SF, so your answer is only accurate to 3SF

3. This is off syllabus and refers to least significant difference.

PS It's incredibly helpful to include the questions on any post. Otherwise you're expecting other people to hunt for these papers online, find the question and then answer it. This will reduce the number of responses dramatically. Students are generally helpful - but it's unrealistic to expect them to do loads of extra work to help you out.
