CS1 exam reference material during exam

    In the Acted exam prep material it is mentioned that during the exam we must ensure that we have ready "your reference materials, with helpful bookmarks".

    Could someone please explain what this means in practice? Can I have my own material and notes in front of me while answering the exam? like an open book?
