Hi, Is there any difference between the underwriting cycle and the reinsurance cycle? If so, can you please explain?
Only the obvious - one's to do with primary (direct) business, the other is to to with reinsurance. Bear in mind that different things affect them though - for example, you'd find that a catastrophe may affect reinsurance prices sooner than direct prices.
