Is there anyone writing CS2 who had to learn R from scratch? Is there enough time to learn it between now and September? Or I probably shouldn’t bother writing this year?
I did CS2 in April 2019 and passed it in that session. For me, I found that going through the PBOR and extracting the general form of the different 'R' formula from each chapter (understanding how each of them works) was sufficient. But do note that I was a student in NTU Singapore then. It is better to learn for the Paper A first before attempting to learn R (which didn't take that long for me, especially since one of my modules touched on the use of R, albeit in a general context).
I think there is plenty of time to learn R sufficiently well between now and September in order to pass the exam, starting from scratch.
