Hi just wondering if the CERA seminar can be counted towards CPD and if so how many hours would be reasonable to put down for it? Thanks in advance
Hi Yuli, The IFoA's website contains a definition of 'CPD activities'. It can be found here ... https://www.actuaries.org.uk/learn-and-develop/continuing-professional-development-cpd/definitions. That definition refers to seminars & workshops. Best wishes David
I'm due to attend my CERA seminar end April Yuli. In case it's useful, I'm planning to record the full length of the group sessions as CPD - external as interacting with others outside of the company. I'm not sure yet about the coursework - it depends how long it takes, but would have thought logging a few hours of self study seems reasonable.
