Hi, I have noticed the practice questions at the end of each chapter cover quite many areas that are not in the Core Reading e.g. UK's Financial Services Compensation Scheme details. Are these also covered in the syllabus? It seems like we have to do a lot more on top of core reading but I am just not sure how to start beyond Core Reading and where to look at. Appreciate some advice on this, thanks.
The SA3 syllabus allows the examiners to examine pretty much anything they like (within Syllabus Objective 5), whether or not it's covered directly by the Core Reading. I suggest an early read of the Study Guide and Chapter 17 for more guidance on this. Ian
