CM2 series X3 Q3.8

Hi,

In question 3.8 part v), the X3 solutions do not explain how the 5 possible share prices are worked out at time 4. I do not know how to work this out, can someone help?

 

up up up up (in any order)
up up up down (in any order)
up up down down (in any order)
up down down down (in any order)
down down down down (in any order)

e.g. for up up up up
(1.1)^4 *10
