Hi everyone, I thought I’d start a thread for SP5 results. How did everyone get on? Does anybody have an idea what the pass mark was? Unfortunately I failed with a mark of 60.
I got 63 and still failed so guess the theory about them moving pass marks because it was open book turned out to be correct!
This is insane... For this sitting, I passed SP2 and I only got 56. For SP5 got 55 so I thought i was pretty close (clearly not). Judging by the comments here looks like the pass mark is pretty high for this subject.
I failed with 52. I was pretty confident of the exam, however, I was wrong. Probably will get feedback and change the approach on how to attempt it again. Anyone planning to do SP5 and SA7 together?
I think it is absurd that the pass mark is soo high... historically the pass mark was what? high 55s?

Are these pass rates documented somewhere for all exams? It is of much interest how they compare to previous April sittings.
They removed published pass lists from past. However, based on discussion with my friends SP5 used to have a higher pass % around 47% to 48%.
249 candidates presented themselves and 106 passed. Pass rate = 42.57%. April 2019. 277 attempts 124 passes. Pass rate = 44.8%. Oct 2019. 315 attempts 134 passes. Pass rate = 42.5%. Historic ST5 pass rate = 47% from average 333 attempts per sitting.
