When do we need it and when do we not need it? I've seen a few variations in the audit trail solutions.
I guess, every time the spreadsheet contains a parameters tab, we absolutely must create a section in the audit trail...is that right?

Yes, the audit trail is there to explain how your spreadsheet works and how to use it. So, if you have a Parameters tab (which would normally be the case), you need to have a corresponding section in your audit trail to describe it.

    Hi Viki

Please don't rely on the Examiners Report too often as the solutions are not "perfect" but what would have been considered as a pass by the examiners. Preferably, try think of a template in how you are going to organise your audit trail, stick to it. You already know which key areas of your model would go where in your audit trail. If you are unsure of your method, try attempt a Mock Exam and have it marked by an Acted staff maybe you would get constructive feedback of where you can improve in both papers. Mock marking helped me identifying those.

    Good luck.
