Hi, I am going to attend a student conference in a few weeks and I want to create a simple actuarial problem for students with zero actuarial background to have a go at. I have a few ideas but I'd be interested to know if anyone on here has had any experience doing this, or knows of a good website with resources. I'm just curious to have a look a round and get some more ideas. Thanks!
well you can ask them simple interest rates you can ask them how the world of probability is used in insurance you can ask them little bit about risk in insurance companies, every person knows about term assurance even if they are not from actuarial back ground , but when you will explain them how probability is used or basic of use of probability so it will increase their interest in actuarial studies,
