CT4- Revision Notes

    Hi all
    I am having the revision notes for 2018 exams of CT4. In booklet 2(chap-3,4) of these, I have a doubt in practice question 1.
    Part (iii) of qus 1:
    How the expected no. of years taken to reach 50% discount is calculated ?
    I didn't get the 1 added in m0 and m1.
    Could anyone please help ?
