   This the prob generating function question looking at finding P(X>or=2),
   where Gx(t) = 0.1(1+t)(4+t²)
   
   I know you use coefficient of t^k expansion but how is what's confusing me...

   Just multiply out the brackets and then compare terms with the general PGF series/definition given on page 5 of Chapter 5.
