    Referring solution to CMP Q9.16
What is general method to calculate
    \(\require{enclose}\ddot{a}_{{x:y}:\enclose{actuarial}{n}}\)

  2. adue(x+n:y+n)-v^n*nPx:y*adue(x:y)

Actually I wanted to ask aduex:y
Haven't found expressions for this. Please refere last line of section 3.2 P.V.of joint life and last survivor annuities from chapter 8 page 18

  4. adue(x:y) has tabulated values in the table at pg:115

To get a_ you need to convert from adue...

    a_xy:n = a_xy - v^n npx a_x+n:y+n

TIP : put the CT5 discount factor v^n npx in your memory button, you may well need it later in the question

    Then a_xy = aduexy - 0.5

and everything is in Tables, as Varsha has pointed out (thank you, Varsha!)

    Good luck!
    John
