Hello Friends, I am currently doing my Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) degree. I am really confused that since I am not doing any Maths Degree or Economics Degree then pursuing Actuarial Sciences along with B.Com wont be a bad combo with respect to job prospects. I mean that will it affect my career prospects as compared to others with maths or eco degrre pursing actuaries ? Anyone having any idea then please share.
I saw few job offer asking for Maths/Stats degree, & many asking for any bachelor's degree.that's all I know.
I did my bachelors in commerce before pursuing actuarial and I've done ok. It actually adds a complementary dimension to actuarial imho.
