What ST could combine with ST5, other than 6 or 9?
Im not in the UK, so that rules out SA6 later! :(
Would you pls suggest some sensible course?
I was actually planning on ST6 and then SA5....
Do I have other options?????

SA5 has reasonable overlap with ST5 so I would pick this.

Thats what i thought too! but what about an other ST?
Would ST6 be in the lines of SA6?
Im not in the UK and I'll most probably remain in my country,
then would ST6 too be very difficult to me??

ST6 is quite different from SA6 and isn't really based on any specific country, so you shouldn't be disadvantaged if you are not in the UK. ST6 is quite a mathematical subject though and the pass mark is quite low. I would still recommend doing it - it is definitely the most interesting subject and is probably the natural pair for ST5.

ST6 is indeed very tough to clear , though interesting as well. I cleared it in my last sitting from India. ST5 and 6 are a good combination, and I guess there is some overlap between the two.

other than ST6, you may opt for ST9. Being a general risk management paper, it can be combined with any ST.

I passed ST6 on my first try last April, sat ST9 last sitting. What a good combination you could try, except that you will probably feel like a Quant more than Actuary once done!:)

Thanks :) ST6 or 9 was what I was thinking too!
