Sir, is it necessary to show the interpolation and trial and error calculations while presenting the answers? Because some answers can be calculated with my calculator directly. However, I see mark allocations for those steps in the q and a bank.
 
Like most things like this - it you get it right, it probably won't matter. But if you get it wrong, then you're more likely to get a higher mark for workings if you show it. If you're using the table function then you can easily write down a few values that you would have worked out if doing it without the function.
