Chapter 10 Example 10.6

    Hi guys,

    How did they integrate the following:

    Integral ( 6 to inf) [ 2 * c * x * e^(-c*(x^2))]

    Their answer is: e^(-c*(x^2)) = e^(-36c).

    I am so confused....I tried the online integral calc and it gives some error term and is just weird.

    Set: c x^2 = y and substitute in the integrand.
    You should get the correct answer
