in chap.6 pg no.9; can we use word 'f' instead of 'P' for discrete conditional prob. function? Since 'P' notation we use for expressing probability of anything and 'f' for prob (density) function !!
in this link P(X=x) is compared with f_Y(y). But in my question i'm asking to use f_Y(y) in place of P_Y(y) and f_X,Y(x,y) instead of P_X,Y(x,y).?
