   i calculated the variance as
   (sq(ln(180))+sq(ln(90))+sq(ln(120))-3*sq(4.827))/2= .1177
   buit the answer in the solutions is .1213
   
   am i doing something wrong?

   It is due to rounding of numbers in intermediate steps .
