Following the examiner's report, what is the reasoning behind the calculation for the reserves? How are q_57 and q_58 calculated?
 
Actually I am lost throughout the whole solution. I would appreciate if anyone could explain this in more comprehensive manner than how it was presented in the Examiner's report
 
The question says...
Mortality experience: 80% AM92 Select
So, look up the values in Tables and multiply by 0.8.

I've noticed nad07 that you have many questions on profit testing. Have you considered a tutorial? I also strongly recommend our ASET for more detailed advice on how to get the solutions. It may be too late for CT5 this sitting but it's something to think about in other subjects in the future,
