Reduced-rate materials for overseas students

The UK Actuarial Profession has a reduced-rate policy to help members and students in countries outside the UK with very low incomes.

Students living in countries that qualify for reduced-rate subscriptions to the Profession (under the Profession’s overseas policy) are also eligible to purchase Combined Materials Packs either in paper or eBook format (excluding any relevant textbooks) and the Online Classroom at a discount. Please note that non-standard despatch charges apply for these orders - please see the table below.

Combined Materials Pack (CMP)

* Please note that the reduced-rate CT7, ST6 and ST9 CMPs do not include the associated textbooks, which are also required by students studying these subjects.

There are no despatch charges if the CMP is ordered in eBook format. The despatch charge is on a per-copy basis, but we will reduce the charge by £12 for each additional item of study materials ordered after the first (with a minimum charge of zero). For example, if you order a CT6 CMP and a CA1 CMP, the despatch charge will be £30 + £40 - £12 = £58. Similar discounts on despatch will also be given if you order a reduced-rate CMP at the same time as other ActEd materials.

If paying by credit card, please order using our estore. Please select the relevant product and once you have entered your country of residence, the relevant discounts will be applied. Alternatively, please fax or post the reduced-rate order form for CMPs or the tuition application form for the Online Classroom. If you wish to order any of ActEd's other products and services, including Mock Exams, please order everything from our estore or submit our standard order form with this order and where possible we will despatch your materials together.

Please note that providing incorrect information to obtain special overseas rates, will result in the instigation of disciplinary proceedings by the Actuarial Profession.
