Studying
CA1 over 2 sessions
As you may be aware the Subject CA1 Core Reading
and therefore also the ActEd Course Notes will
be changing significantly for the 2009 exams.
We're aware that some students might be planning
to start studying CA1 this summer in preparation
for the April 2009 exams.
If you are in this position and you want to
start studying before the 2009 courses are available
in September, please contact us (ActEd@bpp.com)
to let us know you're planning to sit CA1 in
April 2009 and want to start studying early.
We'll send you a "near-final" version
of the first four of the ten parts of the 2009
Course Notes (and the first four parts of the
Q&A Bank if you order the CMP).
When the full, final versions of the 2009
materials are available this September, we'll
send you a complete set of the Course Notes
or CMP and we'll also invoice you at this point.
Doing this will have the advantage that you
won't have to worry about switching from a "2008
version" to a "2009 version"
of the course materials and you'll only have
to pay for one set of materials. However it
will also mean you won't be able to attempt
or submit any X Assignments until the winter
study session.
If you already have a 2008 version of the materials
and want advice on what to study before September,
please email CA1@bpp.com.
Also, happily email if you want any further
advice on the changes or the best course of
action given your circumstances.
