Subject CA2 - Marked Assignment Project

We have produced a new product to help you prepare for the 2-day Modelling Module, which is run by the Profession.

The CA2 Marked Assignment Project gives you the opportunity to practise an assignment of a similar standard to the one you will face on Day 2 of the Course. The assignment has been reviewed and approved by the Profession.

The project will require you to produce a spreadsheet (which should be prepared using Excel) and a summary (which should be prepared using Word).

You should aim to submit the assignment for marking at least 4 weeks before the start of your assessment course. We will mark and return your script via email, providing useful feedback to help ensure that you are successful when you take the module.

Also don't forget that ActEd has produced some Courses Notes for you to use in your preparation, which include sections covering:

• the principles required for analysing data, developing a model, creating an audit trail and presenting results
• advice on using software
• a detailed worked example with exam technique tips and a sample marking schedule
• all the sample projects on the Profession's website, with model solutions and additional explanation
• aims and assessment criteria, further reading and useful checklists.

The Marked Assignment Project costs £70+VAT, which includes both the assignment and marking. The Course Notes cost £46.

Refunds & Expiry

If you return the assignment in the original shrink-wrap intact within 28 days of purchase and you do not submit an assignment for marking then we will issue a credit note to the value of the product less a 10% fee to cover postage and administration.

If you wish to cancel the marking without returning the assignment in the original shrink-wrap, then you must let us know in writing within 28 days of purchase. We will then issue a credit note to the value of 50% of the cost of the product.

The marking expires 12 months after the date of purchase. Assignments submitted after this date will not be marked.
