Smart Revise

Smart Revise is an e-learning
product that contains 200-300 questions to help
you with your revision. You can either download
the program to use it offline on your PC, or
use the program online. It is available in Subjects
CT2, CA1, ST2, ST4, ST5 and SA2.
Details on how
to access and register for Smart Revise are
given below. You can try a demonstration version
of the software for free before registering.
Smart Revise can be used in
online
or offline
format. The online format means that you can
log on and revise from any PC that has internet
access. The offline format allows you to install
the software on any PC and use it on that PC
at any time without having to log on to the
Internet. At present you cannot register a Subject
in both online and offline versions at once.
The Smart Revise
software and the databases of questions can
be used on a trial basis free of charge. To
use the full version of Smart Revise (on either
an online or an offline basis), you will need
to register the software online.
In order to run either the
full or trial version of Smart Revise you will
need:
- your student number (not
your ARN)
- a password, supplied by
ActEd.
To use the full version of
the software, you should request the relevant
subjects using the Acted online estore
or by filling in an order
form. An invoice and all the necessary information
will be sent by Acted. If you would like to
trial the product for free simply email
ActEd with your student number to obtain a password.
You will be invoiced only when you register
the product online.

From here you can either use
the online version or download and install the
necessary software to use the offline version.
Registration will automatically
expire at the end of the current exam session.
If you wish to reuse Smart Revise for the next
sitting you will need to reregister and an additional
fee will be payable.
