CA1 Bitesize - have a break from your paper notes

CA1 Bitesize is a set of 20 online presentations that will help you improve your skills at answering CA1 exam questions. Each interactive presentation works through a past exam question on a frequently examined topic. You will learn techniques for:

• idea generation
• dealing with big picture questions
• breaking down long questions
• interpreting questions, and understanding what the examiners are looking for
• deciding how much to write
• dealing with list, describe, discuss and explain questions.

You will also hear explanations of tricky areas of Core Reading, intermingled with interactive tasks such as multi-choice questions and brainstorming, to ensure that you get the most out of the training.

Each presentation should take around 30-40 minutes to work through, but you can pause and restart the presentation, and hence work at your own speed.

All you need is a PC with speakers or headphones, a broadband internet connection and an internet browser. The PC needs to have Adobe Flashplayer installed, but if it isn't, you will prompted to download the software when you run your first presentation.

Registration will automatically expire after the April 2012 (or September 2012) exam. If you wish to re-use CA1 Bitesize for the next sitting you will need to re-register and an additional fee will be payable.
